Privacy Policy

FrugalStreak: No Spend Tracker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no backend, and no data sync of any kind. The app has no way to identify you.
There is no bank connection. FrugalStreak cannot link to a bank, import transactions, or read anything about your actual finances. Its only input is you deciding whether today was a no-spend day. Nothing leaves your device, and there is no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK anywhere in the app.
What stays on your device
- Your no-spend days and streak. Every day you log is stored on-device, in a container shared between the app and its Home Screen widget so the widget can read and update your streak without the app opening. These never leave the device.
- Your rule. The single line you write describing what does not count as spending is stored locally and shown back to you. It is never inspected, categorised, or sent anywhere.
- Your streak history and milestones. Finished runs and the badges you have earned are stored locally so your record survives a reset.
- Widget appearance settings. Your chosen accent colour is stored locally and used only to draw the widget.

Usage events (app launched, day logged, streak reset,
milestone reached, purchase completed, review prompt shown). These are
written to Apple's local system log (
OSLog) for on-device debugging only. They are never sent anywhere, not even to us.
The optional unlock
FrugalStreak offers one optional in-app purchase, which unlocks your full streak history and custom widget colours. It is bought once and is not a subscription. The core of the app, which is logging a no-spend day, your streak count, the heatmap and the milestone badges, is free and stays free.
Purchases are handled by Apple's StoreKit and by RevenueCat, the third-party service FrugalStreak uses to validate the purchase and keep it working if you reinstall or move to a new device.
To do that, RevenueCat receives an anonymous, app-specific identifier (not your Apple ID or name) plus transaction data from Apple: product purchased, price, and date. It does not receive your streak, your logged days, your rule, or anything else you enter in the app. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Payment itself is processed entirely by Apple. FrugalStreak never sees your card details, billing address, or Apple ID. That transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Purchase terms are set out in our Terms of Use.
What we receive
Nothing directly. If you download FrugalStreak from the App Store, Apple may share aggregate statistics such as download counts and territory with us as the developer. That data comes from Apple and is not personally identifying. If you email us for support, we receive whatever you put in that email.
Your data, and removing it
Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is no account to close and no data held by us to access, correct, export, or delete. Everything the app has saved lives in its container on your device, and deleting the app removes it, including your streak history and any widget data.
Children
FrugalStreak is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of FrugalStreak ever needs to collect or transmit data, and there are no plans for it to, this policy will be updated before that version ships.
