Milemark: Running Pace Calculator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no backend, and no data sync of any kind. The app has no way to identify you.
What the app does on its own: nothing leaves your device. Pace conversions, saved target pace, and widget data are stored locally in the app's own container. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK anywhere in the app.
What stays on your device
- Pace, conversion, and race-time values. Whatever you type is calculated on-device and never leaves it.
- Your saved target pace. Stored locally and used only to populate the Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets, which also run entirely on-device.
-
Usage events (app opened, a conversion made, purchase
completed, review prompt shown). These are written to Apple's local
system log (
OSLog) for on-device debugging only — they are never sent anywhere, not even to us.
The one-time purchase
Milemark offers a single one-time in-app purchase to unlock the target-pace widget. Purchases are handled by Apple's StoreKit and by RevenueCat, the third-party service Milemark uses to validate that purchase and keep the unlock working if you reinstall or move to a new device.
To do that, RevenueCat receives an anonymous, app-specific identifier (not your Apple ID or name) plus transaction data from Apple — product purchased, price, and date. It does not receive your pace data, widget data, or anything else you enter in the app. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Payment itself is processed entirely by Apple. Milemark never sees your card details, billing address, or Apple ID — that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
What we receive
Nothing directly. If you download Milemark from the App Store, Apple may share aggregate statistics such as download counts and territory with us as the developer — that data comes from Apple and is not personally identifying. If you email us for support, we receive whatever you put in that email.
Your data, and removing it
Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is no account to close and no data held by us to access, correct, export, or delete. Everything the app has saved lives in its container on your device — deleting the app removes it, including any widget data.
Children
Milemark is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Milemark ever needs to collect or transmit data — it has no plans to — this policy will be updated before that version ships.
